Art has always been sacred to me. The day I picked up a paint brush I knew it was going to be something I could escape to and get lost in. Each piece is a part of my being, created from pure passion and love for what I paint. I hope to work with you!

I love the way a black-and-white painting can bring attention to the smallest details—the light, the shadows, and the feeling behind a subject.
I typically work from photographs and have a particular love for painting portraits. I enjoy the challenge of capturing not just someone’s appearance, but their personality and presence as well. While black & white will always hold a special place in my work, I also paint with color when the piece calls for it. Above all, I’m always looking to grow as an artist, explore new themes, and continue pushing myself creatively.

The first day of art history in high school, I heard Moonlight Sonata for the very first time. I remember it playing throughout the classroom and feeling completely drawn in by it. There was something about the music—the emotion, the drama, the way it seemed to tell a story without saying a single word—that stayed with me. It made me want to pick up a paintbrush and find a way to translate that same feeling onto a canvas.
From that day on, I found myself drawn to classical masterpieces and the emotion and drama behind them. They inspired me to begin painting and to think about art as more than simply recreating what you see, but as a way of capturing a feeling.
Somewhere along the way, classical music became inseparable from my creative process. Now, I only paint while listening to it. It feels fitting that something which first inspired me to pick up a brush all those years ago is still there in the background every time I paint. In a way, that first experience with Moonlight Sonata never really ended—it simply became part of the way I create.
The rest, as they say, is history.
